In reference to The Ferchill Group’s work to restore the national landmark Guaranty Building of Buffalo, The New York Times headline read, “A Louis Sullivan Jewel Rescued.” Wrecked by years of neglect, shoddy renovations, and fire, the demise of The Guaranty Building seemed… well… guaranteed. Gathering support from the federal government, the Bank of New York, and real estate investors, The Ferchill Group helped breathe life back into this terra-cotta gem, which went from near vacancy to 60% occupancy before the final touches had even been added.
